Alexis Sanchez Is Unlikely To Be Available Ahead Of Saturday's Clash At Old Trafford.

Arsenal are hopeful that Alexis Sanchez will be fit to face Manchester United on Saturday, according to Sky sources.
The Chile forward played and scored twice in his country’s 3-1 World Cup qualifying win over Uruguay on Tuesday, despite Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger suggesting it would be “suicidal” to select him for the game.
Sanchez has been struggling with a hamstring injury but played 84 minutes before being replaced by Nico Castillo.
Sky sources understand the forward is flying back from Santiago on Wednesday but is not due to report back to Arsenal until Thursday, when he will assessed by the club’s medical staff.

And the club hope the 27-year-old will not experience any sort of reaction to featuring for almost the entire game on Tuesday.
Wenger had said:

“I believe that, with a hamstring injury, we have to get access for our medical staff to the MRI scan to see what grade it is, how bad it is and make absolutely sure they don’t make any suicidal decision that could harm his future for two or three months.”
